Hobbs of Barbican out of England focused on bicycles and components to make clubmen more exclusive. They made the best of the best, and with flair. They produced most of their components in the 1940’s, under the brand name Lytaloy. These pedals were highly regarded, and considered the equals of Campagnolo pedals which came out 10 years later. The pedals were often spec’d on club bikes by Hetchins and Claud Butler.
The design is distinctive, with a flared center shell and narrow braces on either side. They are true double sided pedals
